Final Idea, Return to Bon Iver- Skinny love

I have decided to go back to my original song but adapt my original idea slightly. I will be keeping the same location and concept of shadow puppets but I plan to make the film very much based in "My room" by using objects and props creatively to fill out the narrative. My insprirations are very much based on Micah P Hinson's "Beneath the rose" and Laura Marling's "My Manic and I" (shown in earlier blog work)

Research- Album art/Digipaks

I am looking at album cover art and digipacks as part of a package to go with my Music Promo Video, along with a Poster Design.  

Darwin Deez- Self titled album. Simple photo of artist, small amount of editing, small type in top corner. I like this cover however I would like to make my own product stand out a little more, bolder writing, and have it look more artistic/creative by using an image or drawing rather than a photograph of an artist.

Penny Sparkle- I found these images on a website called FFFFOUND.com. It is an official artists album digipak. I really like the way its been designed, I like the handwriting and the way the text curves around, it is different to most digipak designs that would have a artist photo and plain straight typed text on the back and more like the design I am aiming for with my own product. I also like the way that the casing is not plastic, it is made of card, this is something that alot of artists are beggining to do now not only for the style but also supporting recycling. I like the way it looks homemade, it is more creative and fits into the Folk coventions of simplicity.

Stop Motion Sequence- Practice Run

I plan to use small stop motion sequences for some parts of my video, this is my practice run, I can see by looking at this how to improve the quality and change the method of how It was created so it runs smoothly.
